Oshogatsu Decoration Making Workshop

Experience Japanese New Year while learning how to craft your own Japanese Oshogatsu Decorations to take home!

Join us on December 9th and 10th at Shofuso to learn how to make traditional Oshogatsu decorations with instructor Tamiko. These intimate capacity crafting sessions will give you a better understanding of Japanese New Year traditions while also guiding you through the process of making a traditional miniature kadomatsu (pine and bamboo decocration) and kumade (bamboo rake) decoration for your home.

Please note that these sessions are for small groups of 2 or 3. Saturday we will be hosting our Kadomatsu making workshops (3 people, 1 hour) while Sunday we will be hosting our Kumade making workshops (2 people, 1.5 hours).
